** submission NOW CLOSED **
Rising to the Challenge: Women's and Newborn's Health in the Context of Global Crises
We are now open and welcome abstract submissions for consideration of oral or poster presentation for the GLOW 2024 Conference (23-24th September 2024), which will be held in Edinburgh.
We welcome primary and secondary analyses of quantitative and qualitative research studies, systematic reviews, audits and quality improvement projects.
We recognise that not all pregnancies are planned or welcome, not all people needing obstetric or gynaecological care identify as women and that reproductive health encompasses the full life course. Researchers and clinicians in clinical, epidemiological and social science spheres all have relevant and important insights to share and all are welcome to come together at GLOW.
We are also welcoming proposals for workshops to run during the conference. There will be 2-3 workshop spaces available to be awarded to the teams submitting the proposals. Workshops should be 1 hour in duration and take into account the hybrid nature of the conference.
All submitted abstracts and workshop proposals should relate to women's and/or newborn health in the context of four key global crises or to the cross cutting conference themes of Innovation and Partnership.
Please select which category the abstract best fits into from the options below:
The closure for submissions is midnight 18th February 2024 and abstracts shall be marked and considered by committee members with presenters informed during February 2024. Submissions accepted on MedAll only!
We will consider abstracts presented elsewhere if they have not been formally published e.g. those presented at the British Intrapartum Care Society (BICS). Please contact us with any queries related to this.
